Scour the web and you’ll be hard pressed to find a better password management solution than 1Password. It is by all accounts, a very well written and implemented piece of software. I’ve personally been using it for years and have zero regrets.

The company’s vision has always been security at the forefront. They pride themselves on having “one password to safeguard all your passwords.” The concept is simple yet effective. Having one password to worry about instead of 100s of passwords was a game changer. As long as your vault is unlocked using the master password you are able to autofill virtually any form on the web.

Until version 8 users were able to purchase a license for a nominal fee $65 and they could use 1Password with zero restrictions. Built in was a very handy syncing feature for sharing vaults amongst several devices. It worked well with the only one requirement of having the devices on the same network. Most importantly, it was not required to transfer your passwords over the internet.
